Parking is an additional R450/bay/month. A parking bay is leased for a full academic year, and should be requested when filling in your application form and room choice.

Yes. Should you want even faster internet speed than what we are offering as standard included in your rent, you have the option to upgrade to 10Mbps, (unshaped & uncapped) at an additional cost of R179/month.

The university and Brooklyn House have approved the bridge design and position, and upon final sign-off by the council we will immediately erect the bridge. We are hoping to have the bridge installed by end March 2021. The bridge will be manufactured in component pieces and erected over two weekends, so as to minimise disturbance for our residents.

Yes. The restaurant will be offering prepared meals, when ordered in advance. The menu will be made available soon and will be downloadable from the website. There will also be a variety of sandwiches and snacks available to be delivered to your room.
The washing machines and tumble dryers are token-operated (R30/wash & R30/dry). Tokens are available at the Admin Office.

Yes. We offer a done-for-you laundry service.

Yes, we offer cleaning services on a monthly contract-basis.

  • 1-bed apartment – R500/month (1 clean per week)
  • 2-bed apartment – R600/month (1 clean per week)
  • 3-bed apartment – R750/month (1 clean per week)
  • 4-bed apartment – R900/month (1 clean per week)

The cleaning service will include sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing dishes, cleaning of bathrooms and clearing of refuse bins.

Construction will be completed by the end of Dec 2020, and ready for your check in and occupation on 25 January 2021. We look forward to welcoming you to your new home.
